With a winning team of expert mountaineers and scientists, the debris from vehicle tyre wear has been found to play the leading role in this environmental drama. Rather than aiming for mountaintop selfies, these cool guys were collecting contamination-free samples across the peaks - isn’t science thrilling?

So what’s the Big Deal About Nanoplastics?:

Imagine this; small fragments of plastic are being broken down, scattered by the wind, and ending up as microplastics, showing up at parties uninvited from the top of Mount Everest to the depths of the ocean.
